Description

The hour flower (Hibiscus trionum) or white hibiscus is an annual species of mallow. The flowers only open for a few hours each day and then close again. However, new flowers are produced every day, making the plant suitable as a continuous bloomer both in a bed and in a pot.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

The annual hour flower self-seeds very well in the fall, so that you usually only have to sow the annual flower once and can expect wild seedlings in the following years.
