Jewelweed, pinnate ornamental flower, cosmea or cosmee belongs to the family of composite plants (Asteraceae). It is an ornamental annual plant. They can grow up to 2 m tall, and bear pink to purple or white flowers. Insect friendly.

Dark germinators. If pre-cultivated, cover until germination and keep evenly moist. Sensitive to frost. Can also be sown directly in the open from May. Also self-propagates by self-seeding in the fall for next year.
