Growing tips

Germination after 14-25 days at 15-25°C. Sowing and planting period may vary depending on the species, white mallow (marshmallow) is a cold germinator and we sow directly into the open ground from January. Harden off before planting. Can be planted outside at night temperatures of 10°C and above. Direct sowing possible. Water regularly in dry conditions, but not too wet, as mallows do not tolerate waterlogging. Pruning encourages new shoots. Good with lupines, ornamental grasses, wormwood and daisies.
