Planting
Thyme is a spice plant from the labiates family. It prefers a bright, dry and rather nutrient-poor location.
Thyme also thrives in poor, sandy soils. It is a light germinator, so the seeds should not be covered with soil. It is worth preplanting seedlings, as the seeds are very fine and otherwise easily outcompeted in the bed.
