Description

'Fruit Twist' is an interesting annual plant that presents itself from June with multi-colored, basket-like, pleasantly fragrant flowers. Bees and other insects love these flowers. Under optimal conditions, 'Fruit Twist' grows slender and upright, reaching heights of up to 50 cm and widths of around 30 cm.

Non hybrid

Growing tips

Marigolds are sown directly or grown in plant pots. It is a light germinator, so you should not cover the seeds with soil. As it is sensitive to the cold, you should only sow or plant it in the bed after the Ice Saints. Pinching out withered flowers encourages the growth of new flower stems. The roots emit toxins that reduce nematode infestation of neighboring crops. The plants are also well suited as green manure.
