USE Both the leaves and the flowers of the lemon daytes are edible and have a lemony, minty fragrance. They taste interestingly sweet as an addition to salads, in desserts or simply as a snack. CARE Lemon Tagetes loves sunny to full sun. The soil can be normal garden soil, but should be watered regularly as it does not tolerate drought well. However, waterlogging should also be avoided. In spring, after a frost-free winter, you should cut it back generously. It will then sprout beautifully bushy again.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
If the rain-free period lasts too long, you should keep watering well. Every two weeks, feed the plants with liquid flowering plant fertilizer. If you clean out regularly, you can look forward to lush re-flowering. Where Tagetes tenuifolia grows too wide, simply cut back the shoots.
