Salad Blue is an old variety from Scotland. Blue-fleshed, blue-purple colored through with thin white rind layer, the color remains even when cooked. Oval to round, normal size (35-55 mm ø), medium early. Externally very similar to Blue Congo, but firm cooking and does not burst.
