Heiderot is a red-fleshed, red-skinned, medium-late, firm-cooking potato variety. Maturation time: 140-160 days. Aromatic, buttery taste. Good for potato salad, boiled, fried or jacket potatoes. Low susceptibility to iron spot, scab and damage and high nematode resistance (Ro1, Ro3, Ro5). (Source: kartoffelvielfalt.de & biogartenversand.de)
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Planting from 8 ° C, warm, rather dry, loose soil is optimal. The majority of the germs should point upwards when planting. Until after the Ice Saints, fleeces can contribute to faster growth, especially in heavy soils. After the first shoots and leaves are there, mound on. (From biogartenversand.de)
