The tender, light yellow, aromatic flesh of Gunda's oval tubers is easy to process after cooking. A good storage variety with nematode and canker resistance. It also retains its excellent, floury eating quality well into the spring.

A pre-sprouting period of 4-6 weeks results in a vegetation lead of approx. 2 weeks until the onset of late blight. Early potatoes can be harvested from the end of June.
