Red Emmalia is a medium-early, long-oval, predominantly firm-cooking variety. Smooth, red skin and red flesh. Potato of the year 2018, a new variety from 2004 with a good, spicy taste. Suitable as a salad, mashed or jacket potato and for making gnocchi. The Red Emmalie comes from conservation farming. Very fine, creamy and aromatic-intense taste. Storable.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Keep frost-free. Pre-sprout at approx. 15°C. The potato should only be planted as deep as the tuber is thick, in planting holes filled with mature compost. As soon as the plant protrudes approx. 10 cm from the soil, it should be mounded for the first time. This should be repeated regularly so that the potato is covered with soil at all times.
