Low-yielding, old variety from Lower Austria (1956). Firm cooking, nutty, yellow skin, horn-shaped tubers. Medium early. Good as fried potatoes, gratin, potato salad and jacket potatoes. Very similar to the La Ratte variety. Somewhat susceptible to late blight.
