Chérie is a French cultivar. The long-oval, medium-sized tubers have a red, smooth skin, the flesh is yellow. The potato blooms purple-red. The creamy, nutty taste develops especially when the potato is eaten with the skin. The variety matures very early, is firm in cooking and has a good storage life.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
The potatoes may have been treated against sprouting, depending on their origin.
