"Diana" is a particularly leafy, dark green, tall-growing variety with a very good aroma. The fresh greens are used for salads and sauces. The inflorescences are particularly suitable for marinades of all kinds, for pickling cucumbers and for herbal vinegar. Suitable for freezing. Annual. Grows to a height of approx. 1.20 m. Do not cook with the dill leaves. The umbels, on the other hand, only develop their full aroma after heating.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Dill seeds can be collected and used for replanting the following year. You can collect them when they turn brown. Dill is a dark germinator, its perfect germination temperature is 10°C. To harvest, simply pluck off the shoot tips during the harvest period. Dill prefers a sheltered location, as the leaf stalks bend easily. It is also sensitive to an irregular water supply.
