Description

This popular annual seasoning herb grows up to 1 meter high. Typical is the aromatic smell and delicate, threadlike dill leaves, these are classically used with fish and salads. The yellow flowers (umbels) and also the seeds are used for pickling cucumbers. Dill can be frozen and dried. In folk medicine it is said to have a calming and antispasmodic effect.
