Runner bean Meisterstück (Phaesolus vulgaris L.) is a medium-early runner bean with long, flat-oval pods and forms mature white beans. Runner bean Masterpiece is stringless at the right time of harvest. Medium-early variety with long, flat-oval pods. Direct sowing On finely prepared open field bed, approximately 3 m long stalks are inserted into the soil at a distance of 100x60 cm/39.4x23.6 in. Approx. 20 cm/7.9 in away, 6-7 grains each are sown approx. 3 cm/1.2 in deep in a circle around the stalks. Sowing instructions 25°C/77°F soil temperature is optimal for germination.Sensitive to late frosts, so the average daily temperature at sowing should reach 12-18°C/54-64°F.

Requires deep, humus-rich, calcareous soils, warm locations and even watering especially during flowering and fruit set. These delay too early bastification. Do not harvest overhanging - at the right time of harvest stringless. This portion yields about 7 kg with good culture.
