Relatively variable seeds. Very good yield. Beautifully decorated dry seeds with cream to dusky pink-orange or brownish speckled patterns. The cream-colored ("snow-white") caps give it its name. Either the young pods or the dry kernels are used. Compared to kidney beans, the seeds are slightly smaller and have a milder taste.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Require a climbing aid (poles or trellis). Several beans can also be planted on one pole. If necessary, cut off at a height of 2 m to encourage branching and make harvesting easier. Avoid waterlogging. Further cultivation tips for the type runner bean.
