2002 by a family from Ticino who cultivated the bean over several generations. The variety must have originated in the later 19th century. The pods are speckled, but sometimes also uniform on the same plant. The plant is very vigorous and produces a good yield. It flowers until the first frost. The bean is almost stringless and very tender. Mainly suitable for fresh consumption.
