Bean "Presto" (Phaseolus vulgaris) is a medium-late dwarf variety of the flageolet species, which grows to a height of 30-40 cm. It develops long (16-18 cm) green pods filled with waxy grains. This cultivar is grown precisely for these tasty, easily digestible grains, which are a rich source of easily acceptable protein, B vitamins, potassium and phosphorus. They are consumed cooked or preserved. From these grains you can prepare delicious salads, soups, casseroles, as well as healthy snacks for children.
