Traditional, light brown bean variety from the south-western Netherlands near Antwerp. The dried beans are used for winter storage, the fresh, green pods are eaten in summer. If you harvest too late for green bean pods, you can use the half-ripe, white bean seeds. Be sure to cook the pods anyway, as they still release flavor.
