Robust, strong-growing bush bean. Dry, kidney, runner and Indian bean. Can also be harvested young as a snap bean. Good, mealy-sweet taste. Medium-early, reliable. Forms light green, flat, approx. 14 cm long pods with dark red seeds when ripe. Can also be grown in tubs. Ideal for stews and oven dishes, risottos and stews such as chili con carne.
