Description

"Luna" is a white kohlrabi for the entire outdoor season. The tuber is ready to harvest around three months after sowing. It has a low tendency to shoot, lignify and burst. After harvesting, the kohlrabi can be stored in a cool room for around 3-4 months. Growing height approx. 30 cm.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Due to its short cultivation period, kohlrabi is a good pre-crop, intercrop and post-crop. An even water supply is important for good tuber formation. Drought or uneven moisture promotes lignification. You should take a cultivation break of 3-4 years from other cruciferous plants. Harvesting takes several weeks, as not all tubers ripen at the same time.
