The purple prickly pear is showing its first flowers. The blue Carpathian bellflower is blooming profusely in front of the grapevine, which already has many small berries. We’ll be putting those in small bags soon so we can finally get some grapes this year. The first Pienolos are already getting big, and the plants are climbing up the trellis. The sugar apricots and dwarf apricots are bearing fruit for the first time this year. The Patisson Jaune et Vert is clearly thriving in these temperatures. And a bee is feasting on the profusely blooming lavender.
