Cold Roast Salad
...with the current temperatures, the grill is still not getting any use...I'd have to be crazy to expose myself to an additional heat source when it's 38° in the shade 🥵...so once again today: summer cooking is the order of the day:
This time, a salad made with cold 🐖 roast!
Roast pork ham, 1 tbsp sunflower oil, sea salt, Piment d’Espelette, rosemary powder, dried oregano, dried sage, pressed garlic cloves.
Rub the roast with all the ingredients and let it marinate for a few hours.
Insert a meat thermometer and pop it in the air fryer.
“Air fry” at 150° until the internal temperature reaches 70° (about 1 hour). Let the roast cool.
Enjoy as a cold roast on bread, rolls, etc., or create a tasty salad on a bed of leaf lettuce, served with new potatoes from the air fryer...😋😋😋 Leafy greens: surprisingly heat-resistant @Batavia, red & white...

Ich wäre nie auf die Idee gekommen einen Braten im Airfryer zu machen. Wunderbar - wieder was gelernt! Danke! 😊😊
...@Ranunkel, ...ich mache auch Schmorgerichte im Airfryer: mit minimal Fett oder auch komplett ohne das Fleisch und das Wurzelgemüseim Airfryer anbraten(Silikoneinsatz im Korb !) und danach in Flüssigkeit im Ofen schmoren! Klappt tadellos und spart 'ne Menge Kalorien...🤔 ...
@patronbernard hast Du dafür ein Rezeptbuch oder hast Du das selbst ausprobiert? Learning by doing? Oder frag doch mal bei Google?
...@Mirilü, ...ich esse gerne Fleisch, gehöre aber nicht der Spezies an, die das Gemüse vom Teller schiebt, im Gegenteil, Salat oder Gemüse zum Fleisch ist bei mir ein absolutes Muß!...Tscha und die Zucchini? : ...es sind die ersten Jungfernfrüchte meiner Kletterzucchini " BlackForest"! ...Diese habe ich ihnen abgenommen, damit sie ordentlich Land - in diesem Fall Höhe! - gewinnen...und was soll ich sagen, heute musste ich sie schon zum 2. Mal anbinden...👋
