Make your own apple lemonade
Apfellimonade
Autumn is the time of the apple harvest. During this time, we make apple lemonade with pieces of apple.
Utensils and ingredients
- Apples
- 1 L/2.1 pt apple juice
- 50 - 100 ml/1.75 - 3.5 fl. oz. lemon juice
- 250 ml/8.75 ml water
- sugar to taste
- preservable food color (if you want it stronger - must not contain gluten)
Instructions:
Dissolve the sugar in the water. If you heat it up, leave to cool afterwards. Then mix with apple juice and lemon juice (may taste very strong). Cut the apples into the desired shape and layer them in the jars. Leave 2 - 3 cm/0.8 - 1.2 in space to the lid. Pour over the lemonade and also leave 2 - 3 cm/0.8 - 1.2 in of space. Place the lids in hot water for 5 - 10 minutes and screw on immediately. Boil down for 30 minutes at 90 ° C/194 ° F in the preserving machine/boiling pot. Then remove immediately and place in a quiet place for 24 hours.
Do not cover them - they need to cool down quickly. When the time is up, they are ready! Ps: the lemonade tastes best if you mix it with a little sparkling water to drink.
