How to get rid of thrips
Greasy undersides of leaves and light spots on tops can be caused by thrips (< 2 mm/0.08 in), especially in warm weather.
Treatment
Despite their fringed wings, thrips are poor fliers and prefer to be blown away by the wind. Some species can also jump. Treatments containing pyrethrum may help.
