Optimum germination temperature 15-18 °C; 7-14 days; annual plant. Prefers very sunny, dry locations and is extremely heat tolerant. Arugula grows very abundantly when direct sown In fall or early spring. Young leaves can be picked as they go, tastes best before flowering.
