...well, now it's out in the open: They're mealy! 🙄... After all, there was a 50-50 chance that the little peach tree I bought at a plant swap a few years ago would turn out to be a juicy peach.... To make matters worse, the fruit is also rubbery 🙄—maybe due to the extremely hot summer 🤷; who knows...A small consolation: they certainly smell deliciously of peaches, but because they’re so mealy, they’re probably only good for jam...🤷

Mit Himbeeren wird das eine tolle Konfitüre und ich mache aus meinen auch immer ein Chutney- himmlisch zu Camembert…

...@Jdub, im Prinzip eine gute Idee 👍, aber das Bäumchen hat dieses Jahr den ersten Ertrag, es waren genau 10 Früchte dran, die ich in Etappen ernten mußte...🤷
Ich hab dieses Jahr erstes mal Pfirsich- Vodka angesetzt. Wenn Interesse , gebe ich dir das Rezept.
