This year, I tried growing potatoes from seed for the first time, since the new garden bed wasn’t ready until the end of May and I didn’t have any more seed potatoes left. The seeds are of the “Laura” variety. I had collected the seeds two years ago when the potatoes had bloomed. I’ve now harvested two plants. The potatoes didn’t grow very large, but a few of them should still be suitable as seed potatoes for next year.
I also harvested a few small onions. Unfortunately, I was too late with the onion sets, and with the weather we’ve had, they just wouldn’t grow. Can I just plant them back in the garden now in the fall, or should I just eat them?
What’s growing like crazy this year are the carrots from the greenhouse. This one just wouldn’t come out of the ground and then, unfortunately, snapped off.

Das ist eine richtig leckere Kartoffel. Schön das das geklappt hat. Die Zwiebeln stecke ich immer im Oktober /November in die Erde. Dann hab ich ab Juli die Beete wieder frei
