Today’s harvest was worth it once again. Since there are so many beets (Tondo di Chiogga), I went ahead and made some preserves. I harvested the dried pods of the fava beans for seeds, but I also found a few fresh ones—can I still dry them and sow them in the fall? I found a webworm on the mint—so pretty!

Nur die großen würde ich als Saatgut nehmen. Ich persönlich werde nicht wieder im Oktober aussäen. Hier gab es sehr viele negative Erfahrungen dazu. Ich selbst war auch überhaupt nicht erfolgreich. Aber probier es doch aus! Vielleicht klappt es bei dir ja? Das kann doch sein 😁
