Same old story every year 🥒 and 🕷️
Take a guess—how many little critters do you see on the leaf? 😉
I asked the AI, and here’s the result:
“I can make out a few suspected spider mites and many eggs/particles in the photo, but an exact count isn’t possible due to blurriness and overlap.
My estimate for the visible area of the leaf:
* 🕷️ Spider mites (moving creatures): about 10–20 visible
(some small beige/brownish dots with legs, especially along the leaf veins)
* ⚪ Eggs: roughly 50–100+ possible
(the many small, light-colored, round dots along the underside of the leaf and the veins could be eggs; however, some may also be dirt or molting debris)
* ⚫ Black dots: many of these look like mite feces → indicates an infestation.
The infestation in the photo doesn’t look like a very early stage; it looks more like an established colony.”
The cucumber is probably beyond saving. 😂
