Guys, I’m totally over the moon right now! For years, I’ve been growing every kind of food plant for swallowtail caterpillars: dill, fennel, and especially wild carrot. But I wasn’t sure if they even existed around here. And finally—today it stopped by briefly for a snack! Unfortunately, it flew back the way it came and probably hasn’t noticed all the tasty treats for its caterpillars yet. Keep your fingers crossed that it comes back—so I can take even more and better photos 😁 Or maybe to lay eggs 🤗
