After the weekend, a lovely mix of peas, colorful radishes, colorful strawberries, and—what else?—asparagus Image 4: After a small harvest, the asparagus patch was closed up again for later 🤭 Image 5: The beautiful flower of @wintererbsesima-22914—one flower is more white, while the one right next to it is pale purple Image 6: These are eggs from the dreaded @commonasparagusbeetle—a pretty beetle, but an enemy of asparagus and therefore ours too 😵‍💫 I promptly disposed of this (so far the only) asparagus plant with its lovely buds so that the beetle, which is said to feed exclusively on asparagus, doesn’t spread

What a nice harvest! I read that asparagus beetles are attracted to female asparagus plants..the ones that grow berries.
