A raw vegetable salad was definitely on the menu! ...I usually make it with vinegar, sour cream, and salt—done! ... ...then a thought suddenly struck me: ...I wonder what #kohlrabi raw salad tastes like in Thai cucumber salad style? ... ...To cut to the chase: ...absolutely delicious!!! 😋 Kohlrabi, rice or wine vinegar, fish sauce, #onions cut into half-rings (I didn’t have any red ones on hand), #garlic sliced, fermented #jalapeño... sliced, finely chopped young kohlrabi leaves, a few #mint leaves chopped, #cilantro or #flat-leaf parsley chopped, 1 pinch of sugar... Finely grate the kohlrabi and mix with the ingredients, let sit for 1 hour...
