I was away for a few days, so of course I had to check today to see what new garden visitors had arrived 😀. I didn’t find the young garden warbler in our garden, though—I spotted it on Saturday in front of the hotel entrance. It had probably just fledged; it was still quite bewildered, and I was able to take advantage of that for a quick photo session. Then, however, it must have remembered that it could fly and was—poof—gone. In our garden today, I saw this common blue butterfly fluttering about. There were lots of different bumblebees out and about, but they were all in such a hurry that I only managed to get a decent photo of the garden bumblebee. Photo 5 is probably the red-headed bumblebee or another sand bee; Photo 6 is the deadwood leafcutter bee; I’m not sure about Photo 7. I’ll have to go out on the hunt again...
