Today we’re having a little moving party for the remaining tomatoes
…off to the tomato tent 🍅⛺️ to join the peanut 🥜 🤭
…one outdoor tomato had been hiding with the others 🫣
…the corn 🌽 has been in the garden bed since yesterday; pumpkins 🎃 and melons 🍈 will be added after Pentecost
…the cucurbits are already in the starting blocks (in the little greenhouse)
…the overwintered physalis is looking magnificent, and the avocado is also coming back and sprouting new growth after pruning

Ich habe meine Tomaten mit etwas Rasenschnitt gemulcht. Vorher hatten sie schon Miscanthus bekommen. Lässt Du den Boden immer offen?
Bisher ja, weil ich keinen rasenabschnitt zum Mulchen habe, habe mir aber nun zum Testen Bio-Mulch-Faser bestellt… @Reesii gab mir den Tipp, da sie damit sehr zufrieden ist
Ich habe kräuter drumrum, die die erde bedecken sollen. Mal schauen obs klappt. Wenn nicht kommt rindenmulche oder stroh .
Bin jetzt erst mal an der Kuste von normandie unterwegs...
Ich habe Basilikum dazugepflanzt, aber der wird wohl nix beschatten 🫣 im Freiland steht noch Ringelblume dabei.

Ich habe sonst auch Sorge, dass über den offenen Boden die Pilze noch schneller a den Stängel gelangen.
Da hatte ich letztes Jahr keine Probleme - und da hatte ich noch nicht mal die „Gießlöcher“ 🫣
