Can I thin out the task list?

In the task options ("Gardening" > "Tasks" > gear icon at the top right) you can limit certain things, so that you don't get reminders about weeding or mulching, for example. You can also turn off watering reminders or fertilizing tips there if you already have enough gardening experience.
