The caterpillars of the chervil moth feed mainly on the plants during the flowering season (May-August).

In case of infestation, the caterpillars should be collected and the green parts of the plant sprayed with wormwood, tansy or tomato leaf tea or dusted with (algae) lime.

chervil, but also other members of the wild cabbage family (wild herbs)
