#chayote After successfully moving it from the garden bed to a pot 🪣—where it now stands beneath a strawberry and a cherry tree—our “chayote” is doing quite well. But I think it’s slowly getting too cold for it, so I’d like to move it into the heated greenhouse to overwinter. Does it like being pruned back (if so, how much?) or should I gently prune it away from the trees and transplant it at its full height? It has no flowers or fruit.

Experiment!!
