Tomato harvest on Sunday morning.... The one on the left is supposed to be a Matina, but the fruits are all elongated and oval and aren’t turning properly red. After waiting forever, they’ve now turned orange-red, but they’re already very soft. Does anyone have experience with Matina? Is this supposed to happen? In the middle is my last Marmande (this year’s record weight of up to 900g), and on the right is the New Hampshire Surecrop. That’s pretty much what I had imagined the Matina would look like—just a little smaller....
