Peel the cucumbers, cut them in half, remove the seeds*, cut them into rough pieces, and pack them into TO jars with onions, garlic, jalapeño, bay leaves, mustard seeds, allspice, and black peppercorns in TO jars, fill with pickling brine, and can at 82° for 20 minutes... *Never throw away the cores—make soup out of them!

...ich habe früher semiprofessionell Apfelsaft hergestellt... ...Diesen habe ich immer mit 82° auf Flaschen gefüllt... ...da die Gurken ja mit Essig eingekocht werden, reichen 82°, 20 Minuten gehalten, locker aus, um die Gurken "al dente" und trotzdem ewig haltbar hinzukriegen... ich finde fast nichts schlimmer als labbrige Gurken...🤷
