Today I harvested a small amount of wild mirabelle plums, zucchini, windfall fruit, apples, tomatoes, raspberries, and strawberries (!!!!). You can usually count on wild fruit. Despite all my fears, the trees are still full. It’s starting with the fall asters. 🥰 In the raised bed at home, there’s savoy cabbage, Swiss chard, and lamb’s lettuce. In the greenhouse, the tomatoes managed to produce a few more tomatoes at the last minute😳, and I repotted the fig tree again—this time in citrus potting mix. It had already grown right through the pot again. The large fig tree is going into the garden. Its current spot is good, but the soil is too compacted. And it’s just too cramped with the Mayberries. But I’ll wait until spring to do that. The little one will stay in the pot for now. I want it to grow nice and sturdy.
