Insect Garden Project: The new perennials have taken root well. Little by little. I’ve now cut back and removed the spent blooms. Next, I need to dig up the plants that don’t belong there, then thin out the area with sand again and reseed it. Now a few plants have room to grow again.

Welche Pflanzen hast du im Beet beim Foto 1 drin? Man erkennt es nicht so gut. Es sieht nach Katzenminze, Schafgarbe, Lavendel und Salbei.
Ja, genau. Schwertiris, Nachtkerze und Muskatellersalbei.Aber auch normaler Salbei. Und Steppensalbei in lila und weiß. Dazu kommen später noch Herbstastern und Fetthenne im Frühjahr. Die teile ich dann. Ich will aber auch noch was an Wildblumen aussäen. Das ist ziemlich fetter Boden.Da wächst gerne Brennessel, Brombeere, Gräser, Mutterkraut, Ampfer uva

Das sieht klasse aus – so ein Magerbeet planen wir auch. Leider ist unser Federgras eingegangen. Da muss also Ersatz her…
