My absolute favorite plant right now: wormwood. I planted it in the spring as a fan of Hildegard von Bingen—I wanted to make my own wormwood wine. And I didn’t even consider for a moment that this plant could grow as tall as a person. And here’s the kicker: what amazes me the most is that the leaves are so soft you just want to burrow right into them. I’d easily challenge the company “Kuschelweich” on their slogan. Do you know what I mean? Do you have wormwood in your garden, too? Or are there other plants with leaves this super soft?
