My absolute favorite plant right now: wormwood. I planted it in the spring as a fan of Hildegard von Bingen—I wanted to make my own wormwood wine. And I didn’t even consider for a moment that this plant could grow as tall as a person. And here’s the kicker: what amazes me the most is that the leaves are so soft you just want to burrow right into them. I’d easily challenge the company “Kuschelweich” on their slogan.
