@Red Cabbage Could it be that the first one is going to bolt? It has a rather long stem and hasn’t formed much of a head? Can I transplant a cabbage if I dig up the root ball with a spade? Probably not, because its roots go too deep? I was too cautious or pessimistic and planted them too close together… Otherwise, do I have to pick three to sacrifice and harvest?? Is the cabbage better if it keeps its outer leaves? The snails are naturally hungry… Thanks! This really helps me make up my mind…
