How to get rid of the pests
Also known as the moth scale, it develops in four stages from egg to winged moth. All stages feed by sucking on the underside of leaves. From the second stage, the larvae have hooks instead of legs.
Remedies
Adults can be caught with yellow traps, and seaweed and nettle decoctions are also effective against the larvae.
