Early blight of potato

How get rid of the pests

From the end of June, several dark circles with light edges appear on older leaves of shade plants (tomatoes, potatoes, etc.). The leaves then turn brown, curl up and fall off.

Treatment

The fungus spreads quickly - by wind over long distances, from plant to plant also by contact and rain. The fungus needs warm, moist conditions for this. Infected plants should be completely removed immediately. The spores can survive the winter in the soil, on the climbing aids, on garden tools, etc.
