The last two @yacon-138873.
By chance, there was one red and one white in each pot.
In one pot, the white one produced more, and in the other, the red one.
Since they were planted in pots, my husband was able to pull them out easily. The soil inside was mostly compost, so it was very fibrous and light.
Does anyone have experience with the brown spots?
There were still a few tomatoes, bell peppers, and chili peppers available… and my own crop is slowly ripening, too. But they’re still outside.
And yacon leaves for tea.
By the way, the chayote is covered in flowers… it’s 🤮… so I’m leaving them on for now. Maybe we’ll have a warm November 🥳🤣🙈🍀🧤
I tried one flower raw. It was good! So at least there’s still that to look forward to…

Die dunklen Flecken weiträumig ausschneiden. Tolle Ernte! Ich baue Yacon nur in riesigen Mörtelkübeln an. Es erntet sich leichter und man hat weniger Bruch.
