Hi everyone 😃
Two and a half months ago, I wrapped some nectarine seeds in a damp paper towel and put them in a can in the fridge in the garden.
Four weeks ago, we turned off the fridge. Up until then, nothing had happened with the seeds 😞 I just left the can there and forgot all about it. On Friday, while cleaning up the garden to get ready for winter, the can fell into my hands again. I didn’t have much hope that anything had sprouted. But sure enough, three seeds had sprouted. And I planted them in the soil today. One of them should have been planted a long time ago 🫣
On Friday, we also cleared away the slippery spots on the sandstone path before emptying the barrels.
The broccoli is finally developing little broccoli florets 😋 I hope it’ll be a better harvest than in the height of summer 🤞
The lamb’s lettuce for next year is growing great. And the Ceres sage I sowed myself this past May has also grown well. I want to plant it next year next to the lettuce to protect it from snails. Let’s see if that helps against the snails and maybe even against the cabbage white butterfly 🤞

...dann Good Luck! ☺️
