We already had a frost here last night, so I went ahead and dug up everything I could today. @green_feet_bibi, how’s your yacon doing? 🥶😨 First, I dug up my Chinese light roots, then the arracachas, passionflowers, taro, and physalis🪷🥔🥕, and planted them in buckets and pots. I brought them all into my lighted room, which is slowly filling up. 🪴🪴🪴😵‍💫 After that, I harvested a yacon—it had already burst open all over the place. 🍠😀 Finally, a few radishes and the last cucumber melon. 🫜🍈 And the Inca cucumber plant had already frozen to death... 🥒 All of this is growing, among other things, in my #mischkultur2026 garden. I started gardening together with Fryd; the app works great for planning garden beds. What I like best about it is that it includes all kinds of plants that probably aren’t even in other apps, and it always shows whether the plants are compatible. Without Fryd, I’d have to search for all this information online, enter it into various spreadsheets, and go through everything every single time... I’ve included a few more pictures in the replies.
