It’s already so dry here again. And on top of that, there’s this constant wind. I took the time today to get my compost in order. For one thing, I turned it over, and I also needed some compost because I want to plant beets again. It’s barely decomposed due to the dry weather, so I gave it a good soaking first. The barrels also needed to be filled, and I found two sedum plants in the compost. The cuttings must have taken root there. I planted them right away in the perennial bed. The catnip is thriving. I’ve already added compost and mulch to the beet bed in preparation for planting tomorrow.
